I am 41 years old. Mother of three fab boys and married to a gorgeous man. I am an environmental evangelist who would be happy in a shack in a field with a compost toilet and a reed bed, for now we live at the edge of a village out in the sticks. The kids say I'm too much like the Mum in 'Meet the Fockers' and wish I'd stop trying to get them to talk about sex and drugs. They are happy to talk about Rock'n'Roll though.

Aah, the joys of children! Suppose you're gonna say we've got all this to look forward to.
Forgot to say - your spinning is coming on a treat! Which wheel have you got? My first wheel was a traditional Ashford, which mother has now got. Big, not the most stylish, but did a good job. Now, onto that Hitch-Hiker....
I have an Ashford Elizabeth, not the 2, the original one. Came as a job lot with a jumbo flyer and 4 bobbins which are great. I am currently lusting after a second wheel, something more portable - which would be anything really, she's a big girl! :-)
That brings back memories of my bunch being small. It's a precious time, there's no doubt about that, but I'm also glad I'm no longer expected to find fancy dress outfits, go ski-ing (I hate it) and wotnot. Every chapter and all that, I guess :) ~Sharon J
